Haha this has been my shortest week ever. 2 days MC for a dengue that never materialised, then 2 days of sheer unadultarated torture, then another day off - some celebratory full day off, i think the first that's ever happened to me.
well on thurs we were playing handball and i intercepted a goal. feeling quite good for a moment, then realised that it hit my left eye. lol... nothing major, spectacles bent back into shape (miraculously)... yeah that's the most exciting thing that's happened for quite a while. as you can tell i lead a very sad life.
yeah my plane flew. 3 metres to the right. so the displacement came out something like 1.6m. sigh... c'est la vie.
lala lim got flamed in ST on friday... i'm sure everyone knows by now... but i think alwyn's mom was being pretty (dare i say it?) bitchy as well. cos the letter purported to talk about idiosyncratic teachers but basically after about 2 paras zoomed in to a personal attack. its exaggerated, and this time i'm for lala. cos the forum letter was basically a poison pen letter. and its wasting space on national newspapers, citing a particular case and talking so much about it, for what should be a community (RI) issue. also by making into a national thing she's being unfair to the teacher.
and its not like the students are so angelic anyway. sleeping in class then waking up and pretending to be thinking. copying stuff at recess or before school then faking that its done. stuff like this... i don't mean that i'm above all this crap, but i recognise it shouldn't be condoned.
hypocrites. like xue yang says... we're all hypocrites. c'est la vie. (dare i translate it?) this is the life.
