I'm not dead yet, just that I've forgotten to blog.

Hi oli, zy, classmates, YO pple, RP/RGS ELDS - is that the right acronym? - pple, and everyone who's posted on this blog's tagboard or its predecessor. For 3 months last year I utterly forgot about checking the tagboard and incredibly someone dropped by by searching keyper who was the composer of one of my grade 8 exam pieces and who was mentioned on the last site i had.

I've been trying the Chopin etudes (for piano) but the lowest g-string (no jokes here, please!) on my piano actually snapped while i was playing. I'm off most of the etudes (because of the problem with the string), except the op. 10 no. 5 which is mostly on the black keys. It's fiendish but fun.

We had the first YO rhsls with Mr Lim thurs and sat. Fun. Dvorak's New World is fun too. Yay. I think we're doing a von Suppe overture too, it's probably the light cavalry thing. yay.

I'm in 4Q, which is my class for this year. Teachers have recently taken to dropping the '4' off our class name, 'cos '4Q' sounds surprisingly like an expletive that isn't usually used in polite society. So i'm in Q.

Tomorrow we have to present a speech, "In defence of my passion/charm/fetish". I have no idea what to talk about. I know Adam does; he has an unusual fetish for gorrilas. People are weird in RI.
